it’s another flashback haul

Yeah I know I just posted yesterday but if I don’t post this stuff before the trip, it’s NEVER going to get posted. I went through that bag of stuff from my parents’ attic!

All of these clothes were originally in an old white garbage bag that totally shredded into nothing when I tried to pick it up. so I had to transfer it all to a new bag to get it home!

First up, here’s the “stuff” that came from a bag that was mostly garbage.
New still in box HP Valentine’s. Storm action figure, Star Trek marbles, Evangelion playing cards, Legend of Zelda VHS (Kevin wanted to keep the Zelda tape but he doesn’t even have a VCR anymore soooo)

Also found this Valentine’s day card from my parents:

Warm fuzzies

And this one from my dad – just thought his added note was funny considering the current state of the world:

And now onto the clothes!

I threw up in my mouth a little

There were a LOT more pop culture shirts in this haul.

And I’m so shocked to see how CHEAP they all are. Like this one feels like an iron on transfer. We have come a long way.

All these freaking tiny short baby doll shirts. Never again.

Space Monkey!!

Only the largest of boot cuts and smallest of shorts for me in 2000

Keeping this one

THESE HALTER TOPS. I was literally just talking about these a couple of weeks ago. Lamenting about how “way back when” I could wear a little halter top with a built in bra and I missed that. Brought on by me having to figure out how to wear a halter top with my current boob situation.

I wore both of these to Disney in 2001.

Orange one

I’m soooo tempted to try to squeeze myself into that orange top and take new pics, 20 years later, in front of the castle again. I still have the same shoes in that first pic.

And then another little tiny halter top.

I wore this for my bday party, September 2000.

And now for all the anime stuff…

I loooved these all-over print shirts. They are all still in really good shape, too (I’ll be posting most of this stuff for sale once we’re back home and I can wash everything.)

Keeping this one. I already put it (and Crop Circles) in the washer. Along with a tie-dye shirt I decided to keep.

Misato shirt! I wore this at Animazement 2002, I have a pic of me sitting on our luggage wearing this.

Sakura shirts

Sailor Moon and Saber Marionette J… both of these fall into that “super cheap” quality category I mentioned above. Especially the SMJ one – it’s going in the trash. The graphic on the front is TERRIBLE quality and the rainbow elastic on the sleeves and neck is CRUNCHY

And then I found this homemade “What Would Wolfwood Do?” shirt. I do not remember this at all.

There’s more but they weren’t super interesting.

So yeah I’m going to start washing this stuff up and when I get home, i’m going to list the bulk of it for sale somewhere. Looking at depop?

And then finally, in one of the bags of mostly-trash I threw away (because it was old stuff I’d printed out, just papers and stuff), I stumbled across an envelope with my name on it and “FIGHT” – opened it up and..

I can’t decide if this is the best thing I found in the haul, or the worst LMAO.

I remember this, Animazement 2001, there was a booth that would put you on a background and give you a print and I did it. But I hated how I looked so much I left it in the envelope until… I guess until Saturday April 17 2021 LOL Almost 20 years later. Now I think it’s just funny.

“What do you mean by ‘vacation’?!?! You can’t leave me here…”
